About the Crafted website (crafteduk.org)
The Crafted website is produced and managed by Arts & Business and compliments the Crafted development programme which connects emerging craft businesses with business leaders from the luxury sector. The overall programme is funded by the American Express Foundation and delivered by Arts & Business and Walpole.

Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions, the words "Arts & Business" shall mean the registered charity, Arts & Business Limited, which has its registered office at Nutmeg House, 60 Gainsford Street, London SE1 2NY. Where used, the word "Site" shall mean the Crafted website or crafteduk.org, and the phrase "the Service" shall mean the services and facilities made available through the Site. This site includes user-generated content supplied by registered contributors known as "Mentors" and "Craft Makers".

Copyright
The copyright in the content of this Site is owned by Arts & Business; unless where specifically stated.

Governing law
These Terms & Conditions of use, and your use crafteduk.org and/or the Service, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with all matters relating to these Terms & Conditions of use.

Legal disclaimer
Arts & Business seeks to ensure that all the material on crafteduk.org is accurate and up-to-date. Nonetheless, the content of the Site is provided without any warranty or responsibility. You should not make significant decisions based on the information provided on this Site without obtaining appropriate independent advice.

Liability
Arts & Business - to the extent permissible by law - excludes all liability which may arise from your use of or reliance on the content of this Site or any linked website.

If you do not agree to any change to the Terms & Conditions then you must immediately stop using crafteduk.org.

iii. monitor any activity and content associated with crafteduk.org. We may investigate any reported violation of these Terms & Conditions or complaints relating to crafteduk.org and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from crafteduk.org).

Please note - any opinion or statement expressed on profiles or posts on blogs/comment (or any user generated content areas) is solely the opinion of the user and does not reflect the opinion of other users including Mentors/Craft Makers and Arts & Business.

iii. Internally within Arts & Business

While it is unlikely, Arts & Business may be required to disclose your User Data by a court order or to comply with other legal requirements. Arts & Business will use all reasonable endeavours to notify you before we do so, unless we are legally restricted from doing so.

- No commercial disposal to third parties
Arts & Business will not sell, rent, distribute or otherwise make User Data commercially available to any third party, except as described above or with your prior permission.

By using the Site and/or the Service, you acknowledge that you have read the terms of this privacy policy and that you agree to Arts & Business using User Data for the purposes set out above.

A note for Mentors and Craft Makers
As a Mentor or Craft maker (of the Crafted programme) listed on this site, you are entitled to post notices on your blog and comments to other areas of this site. You may also be able, from time to time, upload and remove content directly to and from the Site.

In addition to this, you agree not to:

i upload or transmit through this site:

(i) any computer viruses, macro viruses, trojan horses, worms or anything else designed to interfere with, interrupt or disrupt the normal operating procedures of a computer
(ii) any material which is defamatory, offensive, or of an obscene or menacing character, or that may cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.
(iii) content which infringes copyright or other rights of third parties or which contains illegal content.

ii use this site in a manner which:

(i) may cause crafteduk.org to be interrupted, damaged, rendered less efficient or such that the effectiveness or functionality of crafteduk.org is in any way impaired
(ii) violates or infringes the rights of any person, firm or company (including, but not limited to, rights of intellectual property, rights of confidentiality or rights of privacy);

- You are solely responsible for all content (including text, image, sound and film files, messages sent and items posted on blogs and forums) that you upload and post on crafteduk.org or transmit to or share with Mentors, Craft Makers and the general public.

- You agree that in the event that you have any right, claim or action against any end user of crafteduk.org arising out of that end user's use of crafteduk.org, then you will pursue such right, claim or action independently of and without recourse to Arts & Business.

We will use our reasonable endeavours to maintain this Site. But please note, crafteduk.org is subject to change from time to time. You will not be eligible for any compensation because you cannot use any part of crafteduk.org because of a failure, suspension or withdrawal of all or parts of crafteduk.org for any reason.

Impersonating or falsely claiming to represent a person or organisation (especially Mentors and/or Craft Makers), disguising the origin of any messages, restricting or inhibiting any other user from using the forums is forbidden. Arts & Business is not responsible in situations or cases or identity impersonation or theft.

Arts & Business has the right to amend or remove any material deemed irresponsible, inaccurate or that may cause offensive to persons, communities or organisations at local, national and international levels.
