The Sackler Centre at the V&A was abuzz last Friday for the Crafted debate - 'Craft: an essential luxury?'. One of 250 events during the nine day London Design Festival, the debate pulled together luxury brands, craft makers and journalists to discuss a range of issues surrounding the craft and luxury sectors.

The lively exchange between panellists and the audience explored the relationship between craft, luxury and design. Quite a few were overheard continuing the debate in and around the V&A well after session ended.
